"Yuusuke, have you seen my blue tie?" Ichijou called. He wandered through the flat towards the kitchen, where he'd last seen the other man.

Godai's voice floated out as he approached, sounding...amused. That didn't bode well. "The stripy one I got you for your birthday?"

The foreboding in the pit of his stomach intensified, momentarily locking Ichijou in place before he worked up the nerve to continue forward.

Finding Yuusuke....sewing in a patch of sunlight was kind of a letdown. Although that material looked familiar...."Hey! What are you doing to it!?! You know it's my favorite." Marching over, Ichijou yanked the tie from unresisting fingers.

It appeared the same at first, but a closer examination revealed a subtle addition--the Kuuga symbol, embroidered in a slightly darker shade of blue. Surprised, Ichijou looked up to meet Yuusuke's serene gaze. He barely noticed the hint of nervousness behind the brilliant smile directed his way.

Godai rose, reclaimed the tie, and slid it around Ichijou's neck. He fumbled a bit, but managed a sloppy imitation of his usual crisp knot, which Ichijou immediately decided he would not be re-doing.

Patting his collar, Godai smiled up at him. "Still your favorite?"

Ichijou pulled him close. "Always."
